I'm just now believing that I might just have to not work so hard anymore!

I just took on a part time job that is lots of fun and will get me through to retirement! not sure how I feel abuot giving up the old job mentality!

Turning a corner - Maybe!

I spent many days pushing out resumes as if my life depended on it. I am finding that trying to start a business on eBay is a bit of a drag, and it takes more time and energy than it seems to be worth, and no one seems to be buying. I am a bit frustrated I'm sure you can tell! I drove by the mall the other day and it was packed, does this mean that people are spending money or just using the mall as a new place to meet friends and play?
I have read several books on becoming a millionaire and how to make money online and think that maybe the only way to make money is to print some. Not to legal but fun to think about!
I am coming upon a milestone in my life and wondering what I did to get here.
I spent the first 20 years dreaming and skiing and not much more. the second 20 years where figuring out who I am and being alright with it. The last 20 years I have been working on settling down and just being. Then I found the love of my life, lost my job a year ago and realized that what I'd been doing for over the past 40 years is not going to cut the mustard, and keep me going and I may not make it retired. NOW WHAT? Tonight I am going to another seminar on making money seems I need to do that. Can't quite figure out how it works, without going back to a 10 hour a day job! As my mother would say "nothing ventured nothing gained" so am off on a new adventure - Follow along if you will - it will be fun I am sure.

What about the age issue if your over 50 you go right out in the first review! That is what I'm finding out! Try to follow up and you might as well go to the office of the company and apply, at least you might get in the door - job market is not letting in people who know how to make thing happen and get the job done.
